What advice would you give to someone considering this job? Be prepared to work hard and dont single track yourself into one aspect of forestry. There are many areas to the industry with many opportunities. I would consider what you want to get out of a college course and look closely at what experience a college will give you. Be prepared to move or relocate and if you are successful in getting a job grasp every opportunity. Whether that is being involved in a project or if its being involved in a feedback group, get involved.

Administrative?
Administrative
Administrative people are interested in work that offers security and a sense of being part of a larger process. They may be at their best operating under supervisors who give clear guidelines, and performing routine tasks in a methodical and reliable way.

They tend to enjoy clerical and most forms of office work, where they perform essential administrative duties. They often form the backbone of large and small organisations alike. They may enjoy being in charge of office filing systems, and using computers and other office equipment to keep things running smoothly. They usually like routine work hours and prefer comfortable indoor workplaces.
