In the first semester you will study topics in physics including mechanics, heat, electricity, magnetism, and methods of measurement. The major distinction between these two programmes is that Applied Physics includes physical chemistry and electronics, subjects that the Mathematics and Physics programme omits in favour of developing stronger mathematical skills.
