Many will eventually end up owning their own business, or managing a section in larger organisations. They tend to be very goal-oriented, and work best when focused on a target. Some have an entrepreneurial inclination.

This course will prepare students for a career in the hospitality/hotel Management industry. The programme includes practical training in restaurant service, bars service, front office, accommodation studies, culinary arts as well as business subjects. It also includes a 12 week work placement.

 


 

This course is designed to prepare students for management positions in the hotel and catering industry. 

Graduates will have the skills and competencies to manage/operate medium-sized enterprises within the hospitality and tourism industry.


 

This award will prepare graduates for employment in the tourism and hospitality sector both in Ireland and internationally. A number of modules are covered on this programme including; Food Studies, Hospitality Operations, Financial Accountancy, Marketing Principles, Tourism, An international language, Information Technology, Legal Studies, Market Research and Strategic Management.
