Social?
Social
The Social person's interests focus on some aspect of those people in their environment. In all cases the social person enjoys the personal contact of other people in preference to the impersonal dealings with things, data and ideas found in other groups.

Many will seek out positions where there is direct contact with the public in some advisory role, whether a receptionist or a counsellor. Social people are motivated by an interest in different types of people, and like diversity in their work environments. Many are drawn towards careers in the caring professions and social welfare area, whilst others prefer teaching and other 'informing' roles.

DT420 Nutraceuticals in Health and Nutrition

Courses related to this video..

A nutraceutical is any substance that is a food or a part of a food and provides medical or health benefits, including the prevention and treatment of disease. Such products may range from isolated nutrients, dietary supplements and specific diets to designer foods, herbal products and processed foods such as cereals, soups and beverages which ultimately optimise health and nutrition.

The mission of this programme is to educate students in a comprehensive range of disciplines including scientific, technological and product development areas in order to meet with the requirements of the nutraceutical and functional food industries. Our goal is to teach our students fundamental science as it is applied to nutraceutical systems and to show its application to the solution of problems in food related health and nutrition.
