Naturalist

Not surprisingly, some aspect of the natural sciences will run through the Naturalist's interests - from ecological awareness to nutrition and health. People with an interest in horticulture, land usage and farming (including fish) are Naturalists.

Some Naturalists focus on animals rather than plants, and may enjoy working with, training, caring for, or simply herding them. Other Naturalists will prefer working with the end result of nature's produce - the food produced from plants and animals. Naturalists like solving problems with solutions that show some sensitivity to the environmental impact of what they do. They like to see practical results and prefer action to talking and discussing.

Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity

Now that almost every business is dependent on technology in some way, cyber security is becoming vital to the economy. This is especially true where financial transactions and people’s personal data are involved. The consequences of security breaches involving either can be severe for individuals and businesses alike.

Security professionals can now be found at most major organisations, not just technology companies. There are many specialist cybersecurity companies offering specific products or services that can enhance a company’s security profile.

IT Security professionals typically studied computer engineering, programming or another information technology course, before moving on to develop security skills on the job or through further study at postgraduate level. But there are now specific computer security courses offered by universities at undergraduate level for students set on that path.
