Enterprising

Enterprising people like situations that involve using resources for personal or corporate economic gain. Such people may have an opportunistic frame of mind, and are drawn to commerce, trade and making deals. Some pursue sales and marketing occupations. Many will eventually end up owning their own business, or in management roles in larger organisations. They tend to be very goal-oriented and work best when focused on a target. Some have an entrepreneurial inclination.

Computing - SG246

This course is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills and competencies to work in an IT Department, and foster the ability to maintain, develop, quality assure and deploy IT applications or build and support IT infrastrutures. Students will enjoy a rich mix of work-based projects together with a work placement module that will ensure that these graduates will be ready for a seamless integration into the workplace.

Computing (General Entry) - SG102

The Higher Cert in Computing is a 2 year programme where you begin in this shared first year alongside all other computing students across our programmes. At year-end, we counsel you on your next step and offer the following programmes by way of follow-on:

  • H. Cert App Design & User Experience (UX)
  • H. Cert Computing (Smart Technologies)
  • H. Cert Software Development
  • H. Cert Computer Networks and Cloud Computing
  • H. Cert Games Development

After your 2nd year, you may choose to continue your study in that computer programme to acquire a Level 7 Ordinary degree or beyond, to a Level 8 programme (all but Games Development offer a Level 8 degree).

Computing (General Entry) - SG138

The BSc in Computing is a 3 year programme where you begin in a shared first year alongside all other computing students across our programmes. At year-end, we counsel you on your next step offer the following programmes to join:

  • B.A. (Ord) App Design & User Experience (UX)
  • B.Sc. (Ord) Computing (Smart Technologies)
  • B.Sc. (Ord) Software Development
  • B.Sc. (Ord) Computer Networks and Cloud Computing
  • B.Sc. (Ord) Games Development

After your 3rd year, you may choose to continue your study in that computer programme to acquire a Level 8 Honours degree (all but Games Development offer a Level 8 degree).
