This programme has been designed primarily to prepare students for employment at executive level in modern businesses, and at the same time provide students with a foundation for further study. The programme explores practical, real world applications of marketing principles.
This programme of study is designed to equip students with a solid grounding in business and in particular, Marketing and Management.
It covers the practical skills, knowledge and competence required at junior executive level. There are approximately 24 hours of timetabled activities per week which include lectures and tutorials as well as a range of practical learning experiences, such as, business case studies, industry project work and computer practicals; plus mid and end of year examinations.
This programme is designed primarily to prepare students for employment at executive management or marketing level in business, and at the same time provide students with a foundation for either further study or starting their own business venture.
The programme is a marriage of business management with marketing. Project work forms a large element of the programme, with assessments ranging from practicals, presentations, written reports, individual work, group work, exams, case studies and joint-assignments between a number of modules.
