8. Leaving Cert Helpline / College Supports
The Institute of Guidance Counsellors (IGC) in collaboration with the Irish Second Level Student Union (ISSU) and the National Parents Council Primary are delighted to announce that the National Parents and Students Leaving Certificate Helpline will be operating this year.
The Helpline Number is 1800 265 165.
Lines open from Friday 23rd August to Saturday 31st August 2024 (excluding Sunday 25th)
As well as the national helpline, many of the Colleges have their own supports available over the next few weeks. Keep an eye out on the college socials for more information. Supports offered vary from college to college and range from live chats, phone lines, e-mails, WhatsApp, podcasts and Zoom meetings.
Some colleges have a designated ‘CAO Advisors’ or admissions experts who will be available to answer questions about the Leaving Cert results, CAO offers, registrations and next steps. Click this link for an Admissions Officers Contact list.
